Meet the Team: Dave

Dave GeffkenMeet Dave Geffken. Dave has been working with Cloudspace for almost 6 years and is our resident non-profit website and application specialist. He is also currently getting trained for our agile development team which he will be joining in the coming month.  As you will read below, Dave is big into watching football, snowboarding and pinball.  And now here’s more about Dave:

Where were you born? Where did you grow up & what was it like there?
“I was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  I grew up in a suburb of Ft. Lauderdale called Lauderhill.  I went to a small Catholic school in Lauderdale Lakes called St. Helen’s.  Typical Florida suburb upbringing; played with friends in the neighborhood after school, went to summer camp at the local park, played sports at school and with the city.  I went to the beach a lot and learned how to surf, skim board, wake board and water ski.”

Meet the Team: Roozbeh

RoozbehMeet Roozbeh Meghdadi.  Roozbeh is our in-house graphic designer, as well as professional photographer. Any website design that we have launched for ourselves and our clients, in the last three years, have all been his creations.  Roozbeh is the type of person that says “anything is possible”, especially with the web; a true go-getter and  as you will read below an inspiring addition to our team.

Where did you grow up & what was it like there?
“I grew up in Tehran, Iran.  It’s not like what you see on TV or the news, it’s a different culture.  It has a big city feel like NYC.”

Post-trip wrap up post, or “I left my heart (and camera) in San Francisco.”

We’ve started a new project, with a new client. Can’t say what or who yet, but I will say that I’m looking forward to getting things running so that I can start using it for myself.

Michael and I flew out last Sunday morning, and thanks to the magic of time zones, landed shortly after we took off. We headed straight to A Donkey and Goat’s winery — right next to Wine.com — where Jared Brandt of Zentact makes his wine. As a side note, while we were in San Francisco, we launched Zentact to the public; if you haven’t tried it out, you should.
